2016 Distinguished Student & Practitioner Nomination Form
This chapter program recognizes outstanding individual practitioners for their achievements in four practice areas; Academic, Public, Private and Student. There will be three award categories this year, Lifetime Achievement (Executive Committee Nominated), Distinguished Practitioner, and Distinguished Student.
Award categories, eligibility requirements, and key dates are explained in detail below.
Nominations may be submitted by ASLA members or non-members. Self-nominations are also acceptable. Nominations can be made using the award nomination form below and available online. Nominations must be received by September 23, 2016.
The Chapter will send each nominee a candidate package. Fully completed candidate packages must be received no later than by November 2, 2016. Candidate packages include professional resume, service narrative, projects/accomplishments, and letters of endorsement. Nominations are not judged by the New York upstate Chapter of ASLA. Nominated individuals will be judged based on the merit of the information submitted by a panel of jurors from an ASLA chapter other than Upstate NY.
Recipients of awards will be notified in mid-December. Awards presentations will be made by the Chapter President during Awards Reception tentatively scheduled for February 3, 2017 in Syracuse NY.
