Recharging Communities through planning and design

Call for presentations - Due March 15th 2013
The Upstate New York Chapter of the American Planning Association and the Upstate New York Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) are proud to announce their joint conference, to be held in downtown Schenectady in the historic 1926 Proctors Theater, from Wednesday, September 25th through Friday September 27th. The theme of the conference is Recharging Communities through Planning and Design with four concurrent tracks, including one track of mobile workshop tours.
If you have a presentation or interesting case study that you would like to share at the conference, please submit your information on the attached Session Proposal Form. Session duration should be 90 minutes with 2 or 3 panelists and a moderator. Session proposals should include:
Topic / Title with “current” track applicability: Power of Water, Community Transformers or Transportation Conduits
Names and bios for speakers;
A brief (300 word max) description of the proposed session;
A 3-sentence (50-60 word) summary for program purposes;
A summary of PowerPoint/video/sound/graphics equipment required (optional).
